Balance Hybrid Greenhouse

Featuring all the benefits of our long-standing Balance Greenhouses, including our 5-year warranty, customers have been asking for a 10-foot-wide version to help them with their wide range of plantings. Our 10-foot-wide version is now available in 12-foot and 16-foot lengths. Crystal-clear side panels provide over 90% light transmission. As with all Balance Greenhouses they are wind, snow, and hail resistant. Tested to withstand winds up to 62 mph and 20 lbs/ft (10x12, 10x16) and 14 lbs/ft? (10x20, 10x32) of snow. Low threshold ramp for easy access as well as lockable, aluminum, hinged double doors that are high (6'6") and wide. Manual roof windows allow adjustment of humidity, temperature, and ventilation, and keep you cooler on hot days.

As with all of our greenhouses, we require that you construct a small deck platform that is 12” to 18” wider and longer than the greenhouse itself. This will provide a solid base to which you can secure the frame by screwing or bolting it to the deck and is a requirement of the warranty. The greenhouse must be fastened to a solid base like concrete, patio stones, wooden frame etc. These greenhouses have a wind rating of up to 50 miles per hour. Use of tie downs is recommended if the greenhouse is located in a high wind area. The snow load is 17.5 lbs per square foot of snow load. Snow should be swept off or removed as soon as a heavy snow fall occurs.
