Salvia farinacea. This sapphire blue, multi branched salvia is valued for its vertical accents to containers and beds. The 12-18” stems make excellent cut flowers, if picked before they are fully open, they can be dried for winter bouquets. Approx. 25 seeds/pkg.

Growing Information
Planting:
Start inside 8-10 weeks before last frost. Do not cover seed, needs light to germinate. Provide light and warmth 21-24c. Susceptible to damping off. Transplant after last frost in full sun location, spacing 10-12’’ apart.
Growing:
Summer Jewel grows in part shade or full sun and tolerates moist soil as long as it is well drained. This unbeatable flowering plant thrives in almost all conditions, is exceptionally long blooming and is heat, humidity and drought tolerant once roots are established.
