Calendula officinalis. A mix of double flowers in yellow, deep orange and apricot with light and dark centers. These contrasting colours will make your garden burst and look great as cut flowers. Calendula is a multi- purpose, easy to grow annual, sometimes called pot marigold, that loves sun. They are a beautiful addition to gardens, pots, bouquets or used as a garnish for your salad. Growing Information
Planting:
May be started inside 4-6 weeks early, but is usually direct seeded about a week before last frost or once the soil has warmed up to 21 degrees C. Sow 1⁄4 inches deep and 2-4 inches apart, thin seedlings to 8 inches apart.
Growing:
Grow in full sun or very light shade. Remove spent flowers for a continuous bloom.
