Rudbeckia fulgida. A bold, dependable perennial with golden-yellow flowers often called Black-Eyed Susan. Blooms reliably from July-October on sturdy stems. Easy to grow and perfect for a long-lasting cut flower. Mass plant in borders with ornamental grasses and other late blooming perennials. Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Height 24-30". Zone 4-9. Approx. 50 seeds/pkg.

Growing Information
Planting:
Long-lived and dependable. Zones 4-8. Start seed 10-12 weeks before last frost date. Press seed onto surface of potting mix; do not cover with soil. Germinate at an optimum temperature of 18-21 degrees C. It is beneficial, although not necessary, to pre-chill seed for 2-3 weeks prior to seeding. When a manageable size, plant into a sunny garden 18 inches apart.
Growing:
Clumps may be divided after 3-4 years in spring. Blooms July to October.
