Ruby Sun Coleus
Plectranthus scutellariodes. This sun loving Coleus can tolerate full sun but is also suitable for shady areas. The heart shaped, ruby coloured leaves feature a thin, chartreuse border on serrated leaves. They offer long lasting colours in containers, beds, or inside on a sunny windowsill. Plants can grow 20-24” tall and wide and are slow to flower. Coleus are an annual that need to be started 8-10 weeks before last frost. Pinching helps promote bushier plants. They perform really well in containers or gardens in shady areas. Approx. 10 seeds/pkg.

Growing Information
Planting:
Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting. Sow seed on the surface of the soil, do not cover as light is required for germination. Provide a soil temperature of 21-24 degrees C. Transplant after all danger of frost is past, 6-8 inches apart.
Growing:
Coleus can grow under any light condition, shade to full-sun as long as they get plenty of moisture. Pinch and remove flowers to encourage branching and full growth.
