Saphyr Blue Flax
Linum perenne. This dwarf flax is covered in an abundance of dainty 1”, rich pastel blue flowers from June to August. The foliage is airy and fern-like with a hint of blue. Drought and heat tolerant. Great for wildflower meadows, containers and rock gardens. Blooms first year! Grows 10-12” tall x 8” wide. Approximately 100 seeds/pkg.

Growing Information
Planting:
Start indoors 8-12 weeks before last frost. Sow on surface of moist, well-drained potting soil, cover with a fine layer of vermiculite and propagate at 15-20 degrees C. Keep the surface of the soil moist but not waterlogged; germination will take approx. 14-21 days. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into pots. Can be direct sown in spring or fall. Sow seed 1⁄8 inches deep and 8-12 inches apart in well-cultivated soil.
Growing:
Water regularly, especially during dry periods. First year flowering perennial! Grows 10-12 inches tall x 8 inches wide. Full sun. Zone 5.
