Growing Information
Planting:
Start indoors 7-8 weeks before your last frost. Sprinkle seed on soil surface and press lightly to make good soil seed contact. Use of a heat mat and dome are recommended until germination occurs. If germinating in a drafty area, continue use of a dome until up potting. Up-potting will be required once roots grow through bottom of pot/tray. Keep soil moist until germination. After germination, let soil dry slightly between waters, do not let soil dry out hard at any point.
Growing:
Harden off plants once all chance of frost has passed over 3-5 days, in the shade if sunny. Do not let plants dry out hard if in pots or containers. Ageratum planted in the garden only needs water during establishment or times of drought. Feed with a water-soluble annual flower fertilizer once every two weeks.
