Super parsley flavour. Arat root parsley grows similar to parsnips with a delicious, nutty, parsley/celery flavour to enhance your soups or stews. Tops can be used for cooking, with a stronger flavour than traditional parsley, 5-8" roots can be stored for several months in cool conditions. Days to maturity 80-90. Approx. 500 sds/pkg.

Growing Information
Planting:
Root parsley grows best in deep, moist, fertile soil. Direct seed in early to mid spring after danger of frost, 1/4- 1/2" deep, 3 seeds per inch in single rows or in 2-3" wide bands 12-18" apart. Seeds germinate in 14-30 days. Keep soil surface moist during the germination period. Thin plants to 1-3" apart, depending on desired root size. Control weeds with frequent shallow cultivation.
Harvesting:
Flavour improves after first frost. Dig out with carefully to keep roots intact. Pull out of ground before a hard frost. Will keep a few months when stored in cool temperatures.
