Empress of India Nasturtium
Tropaeolum nanum. Everyone loves this nasturtium in our trials! Strong-growing plants are compact with very dark green foliage and contrasting brilliant crimson, scarlet 2-3” flowers. Nasturtium flowers, leaves and unripe seed pods are edible with a strong, tangy flavour. These popular easy-to-grow annuals, grow 12- 18” tall. Ideal for beds, terraces, window boxes, planters and trellises. Approx. 25 seeds/pkg.

Growing Information
Planting:
May be started inside 2-3 weeks before transplanting, but is usually direct seeded a week after last frost or once the soil warms up to 18 degrees C. Plant seed 1⁄2 inches deep and keep moist. Space plants 8-12 inches apart in full sun or light shade.
Growing:
Tolerates poor soil. Do not fertilize.
