Growing Information
Planting:
Start inside at least 12 weeks before last frost. Start seeds in a bright location away from drafts. Cover seed, no more than a 0.5” deep, and then provide bottom heat, constant at 20-24°c (70-75°f) until germination occurs. Bottom heat is essential for fast and consistent germination. Domes are beneficial during germination but discontinue use once germination occurs. Keep soil moist until germination occurs. Seeds are fast to germinate depending on heat and moisture levels. Plant outside after last frost, 8-12” apart.
Growing:
Prefers full sun but will tolerate light shade. Deadhead and remove yellowed leaves. Deadheading before watering or before rain events will help keep leaves from rotting and discolouring. Do not over-fertilize.
